Slide Designer (web version) and Slide Booster (Chrome extension) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our applications handle user data.

Data Collection and Usage

Web Version (Slide Designer)

  • Files You Upload: Processed temporarily in memory during AI transformation
  • Generated Images: Displayed in your browser session only
  • No Permanent Storage: We do not store your presentations, slides, or any uploaded files on our servers
  • Session Only: All data is lost when you close or refresh the page

Chrome Extension (Slide Booster)

  • Presentation Data: Slides, text content, images, and design elements you create are stored locally on your device only
  • User Preferences: Background colors, layout settings stored locally in your browser
  • No Server Storage: We do NOT transmit, collect, or store any of your data on remote servers

Permissions (Chrome Extension Only)

Our Chrome extension requests the following permissions:

activeTab

To capture screenshots of the current browser tab when you explicitly click the "Capture" button

sidePanel

To display the presentation editor interface in Chrome's side panel

storage & unlimitedStorage

To save your presentations and settings locally on your device

What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT:

  • Collect personal information (name, email, etc.)
  • Track your browsing history
  • Send your data to external servers (except AI API for generation)
  • Use analytics or tracking tools
  • Share your data with third parties
  • Display advertisements
  • Store your presentations or files permanently

AI Processing

When you use the "Transform" feature in the web version, your slide images are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing. This is done in real-time and the images are not stored by us. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information about how Google handles API requests.

Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage Only: Chrome extension data is stored using Chrome's secure storage API
  • Web Version: Processes files in memory only, no server-side storage
  • Session-Based: Web version data exists only during your active session
  • You Control Your Data: Delete extension data by removing the extension from Chrome

Third-Party Services

  • Google Gemini AI: Used for slide transformation (web version only)
  • No Other Services: We do not use any other third-party services, analytics, or external APIs

Children's Privacy

Our applications do not knowingly collect any information from children. They are designed for general presentation creation and do not target children specifically.

Data Deletion

Web Version

Simply close or refresh the page - all data is automatically cleared.

Chrome Extension

To delete all data stored by the extension:

  1. Right-click the extension icon
  2. Select "Remove from Chrome"
  3. All locally stored data will be permanently deleted

Alternatively, clear extension data through: Chrome Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings → View permissions and data stored across sites

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data (via export feature in Chrome extension)
  • Delete all data at any time
  • Control what data is captured (all captures require explicit user action)
  • Use the service without providing personal information
